Policies

Girls Dress code:

  • Black leotard (solid black without excessive decoration)
  • Ballet pink tights
  • Pink full sole ballet shoes; leather or canvas (split sole ballet shoes by teachers request only)
  • Black jazz shoes
  • Black lace up Tap oxford
  • Ballet skirts or tap shorts accepted
  • Hair must be in a bun; secured with an elastic band and hair pins

Boys Dress Code:

  • Black straight leg jazz pant or black shorts
  • White short sleeved t-shirt tucked in (no writing or decoration on shirt)
  • Black ballet shoe; leather or canvas

Dress code for adult classes:

  • Same as above, but warm-up clothes may be worn over leotard and tights

Attendance and punctuality:

  • Arrive to class early and prepare with stretches and abdominal exercises
  • If you are late, please do not disrupt the class while entering classroom, wait to get the teachers
    attention and excuse yourself for being late
  • Please notify the office if you must miss a class for any reason. A make up class will be scheduled for
    you
  • SICK OR CONTAGIOUS STUDENTS SHOULD STAY HOME. Please notify the office
  • If you are going to be late picking up your student, please call the studio to let us know (unattended children will be sold) ;)

Building conduct:

  • No running, loud talking or roughhousing in the lobby or dressing rooms
  • Students are prohibited to go around or behind the studio
  • Students are prohibited to pet or feed the horses
  • Treat other students, parents and staff with respect at all times

Classroom conduct:

  • Attention must be given to the instructor at all times
  • Disrespectful behavior toward the instructor or fellow students will not be tolerated and is grounds for
    dismissal from the studio
  • No gum chewing during class. Bottled water is allowed at the teachers discretion
  • If the instructor is not yet in the classroom, you may practice stretches only
